Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marine Parts Counter Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting customers in finding the marine parts they need, providing expert advice, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the appropriate marine parts and accessories for their needs.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on marine products based on the customer’s requirements and preferences.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and check payments.
• Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves, conducting inventory counts, and ordering parts as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest marine products and industry trends.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Work closely with the service department to coordinate parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the parts counter and display areas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the marine or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of marine parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in marine mechanics or a related field is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
